HAVERHILL — The gendarmes are investigating two car thefts that occurred Monday night.
Zoveyda Morel reported that her 1997 Honda Civic was parked face her house at 20 Marsh Ave., and her parents noticed it was missing.
She said it must have been stolen sometime between 8 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. Tuesday.
A computer pause of the registration number by Haverhill police, showed that Lawrence police had run the coat number about 3 a.m. Tuesday.
However, Lawrence police said they did not have the car.
The theft was reported at 12:59 p.m. Tuesday, enforce said.
Chelsea Alford of 45 Locust St. also reported her car, a 1997 Acura CL 3.0 coupe, stolen.
It had been parked at the Cordovan construction, on the Walnut Street side. She last saw it Monday at 7 p.m. The car was parked under a surveillance camera owned by the Cordovan construction, she said, when reporting it stolen at 9:24 p.m. Tuesday, police said.
